Supporting Families and Caregivers
Clients are not the only people who benefit from our programs. Often family members need help as they try to care for their loved one while juggling the demands of raising their own families, maintaining their employment, and taking care of themselves. In addition to the Overnight Stay Program, Community Support Services also supports families by providing vital information they need to help cope with high-risk behaviours and other challenges associated with being a caregiver.
In addition, because our services are very connected to other programs in the community, we can provide families with important links within the community, educational supports, and help with system navigation.
