The Out ‘n About Day Program is designed for older adults who wish to remain in their home but experience difficulty with daily living as a result of frailty, depression, social isolation, and/or early stages of dementia.
Structured activities are provided in a welcoming environment where participants can interact with one another. The program is designed and developed with participants to ensure activities reflect individual preferences and interests.
The program runs from Monday to Friday, 9:00 am to 2:30 pm. Nutritious meals are provided throughout the day, beginning with a muffin and warm beverage in the morning, a three-course lunch that the group prepares together, and a snack in the afternoon.
This program is not suitable for people who require 2-person transfers, the use a mechanical lift, one-on-one support, or feeding assistance.
Cost: $20 per day
