Silver Maple Coffee and Gift Shop

If you enjoy shopping and conversation, this is a great volunteer position to consider! Volunteers at the Silver Maple Coffee and Gift Shop have a lot of fun and are looking for new volunteers to join their team.

Volunteers will work with a peer volunteer on each shift and are responsible for the sale of; food items (such as coffee and baked goods), as well as beautiful and unique gift items (such as scarves, purses, watches). Volunteers create a welcoming and safe environment for residents, patients, participants, family members, staff and fellow volunteers. A friendly individual who is organized and outgoing with good interpersonal and communication skills is required.

The shop hours are Mon to Fri 10:00am to 4:00pm.  Volunteers will be scheduled according to their availability for morning (10:00am – 1:00pm) OR afternoon (1:00-4:00pm) shifts
