Masking Requirement to Remain in Place
We want to remind visitors, staff, physicians, students and volunteers entering St. Joseph’s Health Centre that, even though masks are no longer required in public transit and other high-risk environments, everyone entering St. Joseph’s Health Centre Guelph is still required to wear the mask provided. Remember to wear the mask correctly, under your chin and covering your nose and mouth.
Masks are one of a number of measures we have in place to help prevent the spread of COVID-19 at our Health Centre and keep everyone at St. Joseph’s as safe as possible.
Dr. Kieran Moore, Chief Medical Officer of Health, has announced that provincial masking requirements, including on public transit and acute care (hospital), will expire as of 12:00 a.m. on June 11, 2022. Mask are still required in long-term care and retirement homes and will remain a requirement at St. Joseph’s.
Preventing COVID-19 is only possible if we work together. Thank you for your ongoing support and for doing your part to help keep everyone at St. Joseph’s as safe as possible.
