QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE:

  •  Certificate of Qualification for Chef, Cook or Culinary Management
  • Minimum 1 year experience in cooking, preferably in health care food service environment
  • Current Food Handlers Certificate
  • Knowledge of nutritional needs and textures of a geriatric population preferred
  • Knowledge of sanitation and safety standards for food services
  • Ability to work independently
  • Good attendance record
  • Possess good communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to exercise tact & diplomacy in dealing with residents, other staff and visitors

SHIFTS/HOURS:     6 & 8 hr. shifts-Days, Evenings & Weekends
